How to Remove Lipstick Stains
Lipstick stains are usually oil-based and highly pigmented. Careful cleaning helps remove color without damaging fabric.
Step 1
Blot Excess Product Use a tissue to remove extra lipstick. Do not rub aggressively.
Step 2
Apply Detergent Place detergent directly on the stain. Work it gently into the fabric.
Step 3
Let it Sit Allow the detergent to break down oils. Leave for a few minutes.
Step 4
Wash the Garment Wash normally and inspect the area. Repeat treatment if needed.
